Share Your Story

Since May 17, 2004, more than 8,000 gay and lesbian couples have married in Massachusetts. Countless other have been inspired by the joy of their weddings.

We are asking you to share—in pictures and in writing—what marriage equality means to you.

Below, you can submit up to three pictures and a statement of up to 250 words. We will post many of these on our website.

Your personal story is the most convincing tool we have -- with legislators, friends and neighbors, and the general public. We encourage you -- whether you are married or single, gay or straight -- to please take a few moments and provide us your thoughts and your pictures. Please help us tell the real story of marriage equality in Massachusetts.
